Bridge the G.A.P.
Guarding And Protecting the hearts and minds of children through prayer and praise.
Bridge the G.A.P.is a prayer initiative hosted by Living Real Magazine. At Living Real Magazine, we feel it’s imperative that we pray for the children — and for those who have influence over them — in our educational spaces. Last school year we started with inviting Christians living in Lexington School District Two to show up and pray for their local school. Around 40-50 people committed to Bridge the G.A.P. on the first Wednesday of each month, and God honored those prayers in so many ways.
This school year (2025-2026) we want to expand the initiative to include more districts across South Carolina. The mission is to blanket as many educational spaces as possible in prayer.
On the first Wednesday of each month, we go (if possible) to the school of our choice (private, public, charter, homeschool co-op). We recommend you either park and pray, or walk and pray near the school facility. Since we never want to put anyone in danger, please pray off campus for security reasons. You also don’t have to go alone; bring a friend to pray with you.
We believe it’s a privilege to pray for the children, so if you’d like to be a part of this initiative, here’s how:
Choose a school near you.
Find a safe location nearby where you can park, or walk, and pray.
On the first Wednesday of each month, join us at your local school and Bridge the G.A.P.
We want to keep tabs on all of the schools being covered, so please email us at hello@livingrealmag.com and put Bridge the GAP in the subject line. Then tell us which school, district, and state you have selected. We plan to keep a running list of schools on the website for all to see.
May God honor the prayers of His people, make His presence known, and Bridge the G.A.P.
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
