Wandering through days in the valley of the shadow of death is palpable and daunting. Memories flood the senses with all things beautiful while the heart is fragmented. Time takes on a new meaning. Another day, another week, another month. Another year refusing to stand still.

People, and their needs, never seemed to overwhelm Karen. She gave of herself freely. She never turned anyone away. She always had time to invite someone into her home. Her unselfish life was a true reflection of the pure radiance of Jesus Christ.
